Batman:

Ø The original version was a simple black bat against the grey color of the bat suit

Ø Batman states that he wanted to have a yellow mark because it would serve as an easy target and that part of the costume was bullet resistant

Harley Davidson:

Ø Commonly referred as the "Bar and Shield" logo, it was created in 1910

Ø Each Harley-Davidson dealership has its own shop logo that says something about that dealership and sets it apart every other dealership

McDonalds:

Ø More than 23,000 restaurants in over 100 countries

Ø The McDonalds logo has been seen more broadly as a symbol of capitalism or globalization since they are the most famous American corporation to go global on a grand scale

Lego:

Ø Formed from the Danish phrase "LEg Godt" ("play well")

Ø In 1962, the first LEGO products were introduced in the U.S in sets of bricks

To me, this photo says that this building is old. Things look cold and abandoned.
The appealing thing to me is how he took a simple black and white picture and made it seem more than what it really is.
